Background:   

David is a founding partner of Parsons Farnell & Grein. David represents small and mid-sized Oregon and Washington companies. He focuses his practice on corporate and limited liability company formation, operation and liquidation, mergers and acquisition, real estate sales and acquisitions, and the taxation of business transactions. He also represents company owners with their tax, estate and asset protection planning matters. David serves as counsel to a broad spectrum of industries. His clients include residential, commercial and condominium real estate developers, construction companies, mortgage lenders, retailers, restaurants, delivery services, lumber companies, professional services companies, real estate holding companies, and family investment companies.

David grew up and was educated in the Midwest. Following graduation (with a brief stint in Denver, Colorado to earn an LL.M in taxation), David moved to Oregon and began practicing law with the other founding partners of Parsons Farnell & Grein, Mike and John, in 1995.

David is married to Julie who is charming and tolerant. They have three children, Peter, Nathanial and Lucy, with whom David and Julie enjoy spending time with in the mountains, at the beach, at home, in the park, in the car, and wherever else time permits
