Led by founding partner Michael Farnell, we are Oregon’s preeminent insurance recovery group, exclusively representing businesses and people against insurance companies. Our practice is rooted in the Northwest but extends across the country, pursuing coverage in Washington, California, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, among others.
Our insurance experience is comprehensive. Our clients are diverse, in industries ranging from construction to manufacturing, medical to law, retail to banking. We have secured hundreds of millions of dollars of coverage for our clients under a wide portfolio of liability insurance, including commercial general liability, errors and omissions, professional liability, directors and officers liability, and fiduciary liability policies. And we have secured “first-party” coverage for property damage and lost income under commercial property, recall, builder’s risk, crime theft, and inland marine policies for risks such as wildfires, food contamination, collapses, theft, and water damage. Beyond their work, our attorneys speak on insurance coverage issues and have authored chapters of the Oregon State Bar’s “BarBooks” publication on insurance law.
