Overview

Amy is a partner in the firm’s transactions group. Amy focuses on the legal needs of small and midsized companies with an emphasis on family-owned businesses. Amy has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, business and succession planning, real estate, probate, trademark and licensing and employment matters. She regularly advises clients on corporate governance, financing, choice of entity, and business formation, and helps both seasoned and start-up clients understand and prioritize the legal issues facing their businesses.

Amy was born in Minnesota and grew up on a family cattle ranch in Montana. Before joining Parsons, Farnell and Grein, LLP in 2003, Amy practiced with Hagen Dye Hirschy & DiLorenzo, P.C. in Portland, Oregon. Before practicing law, Amy worked as a counselor for troubled youth.
