Kevin specializes in insurance recovery and litigation. Kevin graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law, where he was a managing editor of the Journal of Business and Securities Law and a moot court board member. Through the course of his studies, Kevin learned that he enjoys examining case law to find the most persuasive authority for his clients.

As a former CPA and internal auditor for the State of Ohio, Kevin is skilled at scrutinizing the smallest details for their relevance and application. Through his experience externing at the Michigan Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Michigan Court of Appeals, and clerking for the Oregon Tax Court, he knows what litigation strategies are effective for a wide variety of cases, whether setting the stage for trial or pursuing relief on appeal. He is comfortable investigating legislative history to interpret statutory and constitutional provisions and adapts his argument style to best fit the factual or legal issues at stake.

Kevin believes that nothing can replace the work accomplished by local organizations. In addition to serving on committees for the Multnomah Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, Kevin sits on the Portland Opera Ambassador Board to help build interest in the opera among young patrons. You will also see him volunteering his time to various organizations in the Portland metro area, including removing invasive species from Forest Park and launching a Constitution Team at Roosevelt High School.

In his free time, Kevin also enjoys climbing, mountaineering, and trail running—he is steadily working his way through the Cascade peaks.
