Litigation
Our litigation attorneys practice in the state and federal courts of Oregon and Washington, as well as before administrative law panels, in private mediation, and arbitration. While we endeavor to resolve cases as efficiently as we can, we regularly try cases before juries, judges, administrative law judges and arbitrators, as the procedural requirements in each circumstance may dictate. Our litigators particularly focus on the following areas of law:
Commercial and Business
Prosecuting and defending claims related to business and commercial matters, including every variety of contract dispute, shareholder, LLC and partnership disputes and minority shareholder disputes.
Employment
Defending claims for wrongful termination, harassment, wage claims and labor disputes. We also represent businesses in enforcing non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and represent select individuals in suing current and former employers.
Construction
Prosecuting and defending construction lien claims, contract disputes, construction defect claims, public contract bidding disputes and recovery on payment bonds.
Probate/Trust
Prosecuting and defending will contests, claims against trustees, personal representatives and other fiduciaries for breach of fiduciary duties, and elder abuse.
Real Estate
Prosecuting and defending claims relating to boundary line disputes, easement agreements, foreclosure actions, and commercial landlord-tenant disputes and evictions.
