  • Parsons Farnell & Grein, LLP welcomes four new associates to the firm. Bryce Adams’ practice focuses on policyholder insurance recovery. Prior to joining Parsons Farnell & Grein, Bryce served as in-house counsel for public sector contract procurement at a regulatory automation firm. Kevin Sasse’s practice focuses on policyholder insurance recovery. Kevin previously clerked for the Hon. Robert Manicke and the Hon. Henry Breithaupt. Lee Gilgan’s practice focuses on tax, mergers & acquisitions, and general business. Prior to joining the firm, Lee had a solo practice. Alexander Bluestone’s practice focuses on policyholder insurance recovery. Alex graduated from Willamette University School of Law in 2018. While a law student, Alex worked as a law clerk at a Salem firm.

  • In Memoriam: We are saddened to let you know that our long-time employee, colleague and friend, Judy Schaible, passed away on May 13, 2017 after a courageous 3-year battle with colon cancer. Judy was the firm’s Network Administrator, handling all of its IT needs. Judy joined our firm at its inception 14 years ago, and her absence is a significant void for our firm. Judy faced cancer as she did every day—with optimism and a smile—and will be missed by all who knew her. Judy is survived by her son, daughter-in-law and cousin.

  • Congratulations to Emily Miller, Blake Mikkelsen, and Michael Farnell for recently obtaining a summary judgment ruling in Pelaez et al. v. Farmers Insurance Exchange et al., Multnomah County Circuit Court, State of Oregon, Case No. 15CV30062, establishing at least $4 million in liability coverage for injuries to two lead poisoned children.
