We are committed to a team approach, always with an eye toward the client’s overall goals. We differentiate ourselves by providing efficient and responsive legal services, coupled with legal acumen and creativity developed over decades. Our attorneys and staff work collaboratively on interesting and meaningful projects in a variety of practice areas, giving each person a chance to learn, grow and excel.
Insurance Recovery – Associate
Parsons, Farnell & Grein, LLP has one of the most well-respected insurance recovery groups in the Pacific Northwest. We secure coverage for businesses and individuals from their insurance companies. Our practice is rooted in Oregon but extends across the country.
We are searching for an associate with four or more years of experience to join our insurance recovery group. The successful candidate will be able to analyze complex issues, develop creative solutions for the client’s problems, effectively communicate their analysis and arguments both orally and in writing, and be a good team member. Litigation experience is required. Insurance experience is a plus but not necessary if you have an aptitude for learning a complicated area of law. For non-local candidates, the firm is open to a long-term, remote-work arrangement. Eligibility for reciprocal admission or willingness to take the Oregon bar exam will be an important consideration for candidates outside of Oregon.
Commercial Litigation – Associate
Parsons Farnell & Grein, LLP is seeking a talented and motivated attorney with a minimum of five years of commercial litigation experience to work with our partners on several large, complex cases. The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:
- Excellent document review, research and writing skills
- Experience taking/defending depositions
- Experience writing motions and other pleadings
- Dynamic personality and desire to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment
- Active Oregon Bar membership
This is an exceptional opportunity to use your experience and 2nd chair with partners on large commercial litigation cases. Only applicants with the skills and experience listed above will be considered.
Along with a competitive salary and benefits, our firm offers a collegial, comfortable environment.
